GouAid is a non-profit founded by two high school students with a passion for those in need. Our mission to provide dog food and supplies to those who are less fortunate, and reach out to help people directly, hand to hand. We believe that every dog deserves a loving home and a full belly, and we are committed to making that a reality for as many dogs as possible. Blake Shan

Blake is a rising senior at Mulgrave School in British Columbia. He has known Daniel since grade 6. One of Blake's best friends is his dog, Cola, a 3-year-old German Sheperd who loves playing Tug of War and football.

Blake's passion for helping dogs was roused by the sight of dogs rummaging through garbage for food. Witnessing the struggles of homeless dogs on the streets, Blake plighted to devote himself to helping dogs and their owners in need. Blake believes that no dog should go hungry and that every dog deserves a chance at a better life.

Daniel Wu

Daniel is a rising senior at Mulgrave School in British Columbia. He has known Blake for more than 5 years, and a core facet of their friendship has been their dogs. Daniel's dog, Bella, is a 5-year-old Labradoodle who loves food and running around to play fetch.

Daniel's passion for helping dogs was kindled by the owner of one of Bella's best friends, Sherlock. Sherlock's owner was an amiable old lady, and once, she bought a whole bag of dog food for a homeless person with a dog in front of Safeway. Moved by this action, Daniel vowed to dedicate himself to helping dogs - and their owners - in need.
